It was a nice summer day when 2 flies came upon a picnic lunch. Finding only baloney, they promptly ate their fill.

The flies then flew to a nearby well for a drink, then they sat on the pump handle to rest and talk.

After a few minutes, one said he had to leave and flew off, only to drop dead after a few feet. Then the second fly flew off, and he, too, dropped dead.

MORAL: DON'T FLY OFF THE HANDLE WHEN YOU'RE FULL OF BALONEY.

I have to say I agree wholeheartedly. I can understand that Rachel Ashwell may be concerned that others are duplicating her look of furniture, but hasn't imitation always been the highest form of compliment? Not only that but there is nothing that she can do to stop it from happening, it happens to many designers ie Louis vuitton etc..so just relax and get over it.

I don't get it. Are you upset that they used the word "holy" in the press release...which you think should only be used in terms of god? If I want to say the sky looks holy, or I have ideas so close to my heart that they are holy...I can. Nothing to get riled up about.

I just read the article that was written by Gary Evans of Furniture Today regarding the launch of our new Shabby Chic Line and was more than a little alarmed that I had been mis-quoted as saying that the new line would have everything that had come to be “true and holy” about Shabby Chic. The intent was to let the industry know that the line would stay true to the origins of Shabby Chic, not to imply Divinity. I’m truly sorry if this mis-quote has offended anyone. Please be aware that phrase has not appeared in any of our official press releases. I’ve emailed a copy of the official release to shabbyrosechic to post on this site if possible.
